此处俯瞰深潭，两峰对峙，四周植被葱郁，山水相依，“虬龙峡”和“晴龙峡”两峡平行，在水面正好构成一个“工”字型状。这是水平的砂砾岩因地质构造运动作用产生大量断裂和裂隙，流水沿不同方向的断裂长期侵蚀冲刷、下切崩落形成多组的V形谷，这种峡谷群发育是泰宁青年期丹霞又一典型例证。
Looking down from this platform, there are two peaks facing each other, surrounding by dense vegetation and reflecting by mountains and waters. The two canyons trend in parallel, forming a shape as the letter “H”. This phenomenon is caused by the long-term weathering and erosion along the pre-existing parallel faults and joints generated by tectonics. Erosion, weathering along with collapsing shaped the V-shaped valleys. The well-developed danxia valleys are the representatives of young stage danxia landforms.
